Dimmers no longer clickable

My dimmers are no longer clickable on the dashboard (as a shortcut for on/off) anymore since updating to the most recent version (2.0.8.113).

Was this an intended change or did something go wrong?

Currently all of my dimmers are GE and are otherwise behaving the same as before for both physical taps and Google Home commands; with on/off and dimming support.

I was able to regain this functionality by adding a switch tile in addition to the dimmer. But that's kind of annoying needing to double up on every tile.

If you click on the slider, I think you're right, if you click on the Icon or the words, it does on/off for me.

I just had to physically power off the dimmer and then turn it back on. Then the Dashboard tile started working properly again.

There is a confirmed bug in the dimmer template. Clicking on the bulb icon does not work. Clicking around the bulb icon does toggle the dimmer state.

Due to be fixed in 2.0.9. See this thread for details...
