Didn't have option to Link Sonos from HE Hub #2 (LAN Device), to HE Hub #1 (Main Hub)

I received my 2nd HE hub the other day from the sale, and was setting it up to handle all the LAN Devices. The idea is to have all LAN Devices on the HE hub #2 and then link it to HE hub #1 (Main Hub).

I was able to link my Philips Hue hub, Harmony Hubs, Ecobee, Lutron Caseta Bridge, SmartThings hub, just fine. But when I had all 9 of my Sonos players set up in the HE hub #2 to link, they were not listed in any of the Drop-Down Tabs to Link to HE hub #1 (main hub)?

I even removed them and set them up again on the HE hub #2, but again they were not listed in any of the drop down tabs to link to HE hub #1.

So right now, I just set them back up in HE hub #1 in order to use them with the Rules and Notifications.
Was there something I was missing, or is there no option to link Music devices from one hub to another?

Thanks for any info on this!

May I ask why you've chosen to divide the devices up in this way? You're still going to have just as much traffic on the radio of Hub #1 and the radio on hub #2 won't be doing anything. I would think you would divide things up across the two hubs. It seems to me that you're not actually reducing the workload of hub #1 but actually increasing it.

I didn't think of that way.
I was trying to fix an issues with my Lifx bulbs causing issues with my Z-Wave radio. Was told from HE Support after looking at my Logs that was the LAN devices causing my issue. I still haven't added them back just yet.

I guess now I'm going to have to rethink how to set everything up correctly.
The issues I see now that I will have is, when I do "unlink" the LAN devices from HE hub #1 is all the Rules in RM and Notifications, and Simple Lighting rules that uses a little bite of everything (Z-Wave & LAN Devices) will no longer work correctly.
I guess I will now have to split those Rules into two parts, one for the device setting on HE #1, and 2nd for devices setting on HE hub #2.

That's why it makes more sense to have them decided by halves of your house, wouldn't you think? Also, how many devices do you have? Most people who have two hubs do so because of large houses or a separate one for ZLL bulbs.

I have *233 devices listed in HE hub #1.
48 are Z-Wave, 60 are Zigbee, 9 Sonos devices, 7 Ecobee devices.

Linked devices are, Philips Hue (65 devices and groups), Lutron Caseta Bridge (4 devices), Harmony hub (6 hubs controlling 15 devices), SmartThings hub controlling 5 window shades.

Is there really then any reason to Link two HE hubs together?

I actually just added a second hub with the same thoughts. As I have fully moved everything over from Wink to Hubitat, I have noticed that sometimes rules run slowly. When I look at the logs it is usually when there is a bunch of heartbeat updates from my Rachio 16 zone sprinkler system, Hue lights (48 devices) and Sonos players (18 players).

Just noticed the same thing that I cannot link Sonos to my master Hub.

You can install a separate sonos instance on each hub.
