I've noticed that occasionally a device will show "ON" when it is "OFF" and "OFF" when it is "ON".
I'm looking at these lights and they are really "OFF", but they show "ON" in Hubitat devices.
Is there a way to figure out how/why this is happening? It randomly happens to many devices. Refresh will get it back in sync. [C8 PRO, Latest Firmware]
Are these Z-Wave devices? Are you using ZWaveJS? If so, does this also happen on legacy ZWave?
With that out of the way, some of this may result from transient mesh insufficiencies.
The devices that I've noticed over the last month are Z-Wave devices. GE wall switches mostly. The reason I notice them is because they show up as ON (bright Glow on my SharpTools Dashboard) when no one is home. I'll check the device in Hubitat and they will show ON. If I'm home, I simply look at them. If not, some are visable via camera.
If I use refresh or simply toggle the switch, all is well.
I'm using legacy ZWave as I'm not sure I want to go through switching to JS. (seems some have issues and go back).
The most common wall switches that do this are in the same room as the hub and the furthest is 22 feet.
I just physically turned ON the device above with the paddel switch. The lights turn ON, but still show OFF in Hubitat. Also, I just checked the log for this device. There was nothing there and all of a sudden, an entry for an OFF at 3:41PM popped up. It is 4:37 PM !!!! Nothing yet for the ON.
EDIT: I turned them ON, set the level to 55, turned them OFF, turned them back ON. (Using my SharpTools dashboard)Worked fine and now the logs show the activity instantly.
