A while back I updated my hub from 2.3.5.125 to 2.3.5.141 and in my Android Mobile App All my Fan Controllers are no longer there. I figured it was just a bug and would be fixed. Well last night I updated to 2.3.5.152, figuring it had to be fixed, but I was wrong. For some reason as soon as I update from 2.3.5.125 I lose access to my Fan Controllers in the Android App. As soon as I restore back to the 2.3.5.125 FW They show back up again in my App. Below is an example of what I'm seeing in 2.3.5.125, if I update beyond 2.3.5.125 that circled Fan disappears and I can no longer control it.
If you upgrade everything, then log out of the app then log back in do you see them? Normally fan's don't show in rooms... (That could have changed) Are they showing on dashboards?
I will have to try to log out log back in, The Fans have always showed in the rooms since I switched to Hubitat, it was only with a recent update they disappeared. I've never used them on a Dashboard, I will give that a shot later today as well and get back to you. I just figured I couldn't be the first person to ask about the fans missing but maybe so.,.. hahaha
A dashboard is preferred to rooms honestly. Remember when you create a dashboard you need to expose the devices to it. Don't expose them all as that can slow down rendering. Rooms is currently incomplete. Even Hubitat is not sure yet what they're gonna do with them. Not recommended to rely on them.
