I have four low voltage USB powered lighting strips/kits.
Each one has a male USB that plugs into a four-way splitter, and then into a battery pack.
I would like to have them controlled (powered on/off) via zigbee.
I would prefer to control each "channel" individually; but would not mind if it had to be controlled as a group.
I'm thinking something like a power strip that can plug into the 120ac wall; and provide 4 to 8 USB power outputs. I don't need normal plugs; just USB outputs. Something like this??
They also aren't Zigbee...they use Wi-Fi. I have a few of these and really like them, but Wi-Fi only (though you can integrate them w/GH and Alexa which would allow control from HE (via cloud).
Ugh... youre correct. Just goes to show you how careful one must be to read the descriptions after a google search!
Id really prefer zigbee. Im trying to come off wifi devices. Im down to just my kasa switches on wifi. Im not fond of the constant polling... but they have been 100% reliable.
At least i know i have a good fallback if i cant find what i want
