I have a C-7 and a C-8Pro linked via hub mesh. Both are running
2.5.1.152. The C-8 Pro was installed recently and replaced a C-5, which I migrated to the C-Pro without any issues.
The problem I'm reporting occurred on the new C8 Pro and has occurred intermittently in the past as well. I'd hoped replacing the outdated C5 would resolve sync issues, but apparently it did not.
Specifically, I have a Zooz scene controller switch linked to Zwave on the C7. It is synced via Mesh to the C8 Pro, where button pushes trigger various lights via either button controller app or Switch Bindings. The problem though seems to be in the mesh updates.
When I look at events on the C7 (where the switch is a device) I see appropriate events whenever a physical button is pressed. However, the linked device on the C8 Pro is missing many of those events. This afternoon, it registered one of about 5 presses, and thus the expected responses did not occur.
As I said this has happened before and is usually resolved by a reboot - but of course it should not be happening. The two hubs are sitting physically within an inch of each other and connected to the network via ethernet (thus there should be no issues of Wifi interference).
Any thoughts on why this is occurring ?
