Not for z-wave. The C-7 stack is very different from the C-5 (and earlier) stack. And the z-wave firmware updater app was built for just the C-7 stack.
The zigbee firmware updater should work with the C-5 as well.
You’re referring to a z-wave device firmware update feature (the ability to do zigbee device firmware updates was added more recently).
Since the C7’s z-wave chipset is newer than the hardware revisions that came before it, they have indicated in the past they will no longer add z-wave specific features to pre-C7 hubs:

I guess I was reading too much into the phrasing (“currently”)
Good news is that @bcopeland's drivers to change firmware will continue to work with the C-5!
I was wonder about that.. why if i ihave a c5 does it give me the option.
I used the app to at least upload the FW to my device, but if I use the URL it gives an error.
