Developing new device - hubitat recommendations

Hi, i have looked for this in the docs, but not had any luck finding something.
I am in process of creating a new zigbee device - first hardware then the firmware.
This is the first time I am doing this, I wanted to ensure that I am ticking all the boxes in terms of hardware specification & development.
Can any Hubitat folks contact me to help understand what decisions I can make that will ensure the chosen design will operate seamlessly in a Hubitat world?

That’s a difficult question for anyone to answer without details of what you’re doing. Short answer follow the zigbee spec and you’ll be fine.
