Delayed dim response on simple automation rule

Hi- have C-8 Pro and version 2.4.3.164. Just moved over a week or so ago from zipgateway (legacy?) to JDS. All went well. I have one long term rule that seems to have added a second or so delay, curious if there are thoughts on how optimize. Basically if mode is night and button 1 pushed, the light should dim to 1%, its a LED recessed light on a zooz 72 dimmer and using Jeff's advanced dimmer driver. When on zwave legacy, there was a brief <1sec delay where they light would turn on to prior level (normally 100%), then adjust to 1%. Now on JDS, its almost 2 seconds.

Below is the rule and the events on the device. No one cares but my OCD, guess I could just write a rule to turn the light to 1% then off right after switching to night mode, but curious if others have a workaround.

Turning on a LED at low power takes an extra bit of time. My work around is to dim it to a higher level then dim it down to the lower setting soon afterwards.

dim light to 28% fade 0
dim light to 1% fade 0 delay 0.032 seconds.

experiment with the initial setting and delay to prevent a flash while getting it to start sooner.

I use Rule Machine. I don't know if RL is that granular.
