Degree symbol in notification

How do I input the temperature degree sign in a message/notification that is sent to my mobile phone?

You mean one of these? °

Yes, °.

Same way you made that one?

I use Apple Mac, so I use CtrlCmdSpacebar and type in degree. That gives me this.

If using PC, not sure of the steps to get to the emoticons.

@Slate: Well, I did a copy and paste from your post! :grinning:
How would I insert the ° symbol using my iPhone keyboard, or my pc?

Either! Or use the copy paste you used here if you are lazy.

I agree with @Slate.

Might as well just copy/paste from this thread.

Or you can copy/paste a degree symbol from any other source of text.

You can also search for the “Windows alt code” for the degree symbol. By entering “Alt +” then the relevant string of numbers, you can enter many different symbols with your keyboard while using Windows.

On the iPad’s Magic Keyboard, the ˚ can be displayed with « option »-k.

Or, on the iPad, hold down the zero key and it will give the ° option.

Also, on a PC keyboard, you can hold down ALT and type "248" on the keypad, and it will create an °.
