Sounds like he's locking up the radios and not necessarily a networking issue. This can cause the devices to not respond to on/off commands or apps. This is usually caused by a failed pairing (ghost node). Can you post a screenshot of your settings, zwave details?

That doesn't necessarily indicate an issue ... after ~4 days uptime this is what one of my app stats look like:

That doesn't look all that bad, especially for an app. It might be helpful if we could see all the stats for both Apps and Devices.
Click on the double arrow to the right of Hub Uptime, and select all categories. Repeat that for Device Stats also.

I am trying a new tack. I had a C7 in my outbuilding controlling only a couple of devices. I brought it to the main building and uploaded into it the database from the troublesome unit. It seems to be running just fine for now.
I will let the "old" unit rest for a couple of days and see how the new one works.
