Dead GE Jasco Switch?

I have this GE Jasco model ZW4003 switch that is about 4 years old. The dang thing would not shut off. Connectivity to hub was lost so I couldn't shut it off with HE or manually (the switch wouldn't turn it off either). Cycled power to the switch with no affect. Do you think it is beyond redemption?
I don't know how or even if I can test it somehow. Any Suggestions? I have already replaced it with a dumb switch. At least it works.

I had one go bad, it was over a year old... GE replaced it

First thing I would do is call GE/Jasco, as the old saying goes, the answer is always no unless you ask, you've got nothing to loose

Good luck

If you couldn't operate physically after a power cycle then it's mostly a faulty switch.
The old GE switch is notorious for this with power outage or surge.

GE/Jasco recently extended their warranty to 5 years on their devices. As @toy4rick suggests give them a call. You might get a brand new switch as a result.

Mine died today after a power fluctuation (we had high winds in our areas) - am more curious one which brand are folks getting?

For zwave devices, iNovelli and Zooz have a lot of fans here. But for bulletproof reliability, nothing beats Lutron.

I only buy GE/Jasco/UltraPro switches...they (except for some of the older Z-Wave versions) have been great. The five-year warranty is also excellent. They work w/out issue and just don't cause me any problems.
