Dashboard Tile Background Image

Since last update my Dashboard Tile background image stored on Google Drive is not showing up in Mobile or Desktop browser, however typing the image link directly into Browser would display image Any direction would be appreciated,

Here's how the link is set up:

I'm having the same issue. This used to work and I'm not sure exactly when it stopped. Was hosting a background dashboard image on my google public share drive so I can see it when viewing dashboards remotely. My share link is still working in any browser just not showing up as the background anymore.

Are any of the recent update changes could have caused this behavior? You may know of @support_team. Images would display properly prior to a week ago.

I can't say I will be able to provide a solution to this, but a few details that may help would be:

Which platform versions are you referring to? At least what version you are running now would be useful, but knowing what version you were running last time it worked and what version it stopped working for you would be even better. You can look in the logs for hub reboots and what version was running each time.

When you are accessing the dashboard are you accessing the local or the cloud link? Or perhaps an easier question, are you connected to your LAN, either by Wi-Fi or VPN?

Have you changed the link at all recently? One reason I ask this and the local vs cloud question is that @kahn-hubitat posted recently about trying to view camera images recently and @bobbyd mention about a browser not being able to mix http and https in the same page. I am wondering if this could be the issue.

If you could post a screenshot or the text for the link you are using for the dashboard in your browser, obscuring any IP address or access token, then this may answer these questions.

Separate to the http(s) question, have you tried rolling back to an earlier platform release?

First off, thank you for your response. I'm on version 2.3.7.145, not quiet exactly when it started to behave this way but would guess about 1 week ago. It's an image shared on Google drive with Cloud link: < https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1YA6qe2gSwyuFqpcUrTrBbSr0u_p3WiK7 />.
I know if I store the image on local drive then I will be able to view if connected by WiFi and not remotely. The link has not been changed & I have made no changes to the dashboard.
The image below is snapshot of the dashboard & the large Black tile is where it should show.

Thanks for confirming the platform version you are running.

With the dashboard access, what I was hoping to understand was:

Are you accessing the dashboard using a local URL or a cloud URL? In the screenshot of the dashboard I was hoping you could include the address bar as well, obscuring any access token or IP address.

Have you tried rolling back your HE platform to an earlier version than 2.3.7.145?

Accessing the dashboard local or cloud is same behavior,
local; http://ip address/dashboards
or
Remote: https://remoteaccess.aws.hubitat.com/dashboards/

I did roll back to 2.3.7.143 & no luck,

If it's the same, then the mixture of HTTP and HTTPS would not appear to be the issue... Given that the remote address is a HTTPS link... See how the rollback goes...

Just tried 2.3.7.143 & 2.3.7.144
wasn't able to roll back to any earlier version though

And they didn't fix the issue?

Nope. Can't imagine what else could have caused it

What browser and operating system are you using on your PC / Laptop?

I wonder if Google has made changes to how shared links are handled.

It wouldn't surprise me... Which would be fair enough...

Windows 11 or iOS 17.2.1

Are you familiar with opening the Developer Tools in the browser you are using? I'm wondering if there may be more information in there...

tried on Chrome & Firefox

I just tried on Microsoft Edge and no luck

Have you tried opening the developer tools?

Yes, but not knowing what to look for?
