Dashboard page on iOS, mobile app infinite loading

@gopher.ny is actually the staff member that reached out about this one back in February, but has since ignored all of my replies and direct messages in response to his request for information from my hub. It would be great if he’ll respond to you.

It is minor. And all they need to do is comment that it isn’t reproducible or it’s unfixable for whatever reason instead of ignoring the issue. Any answer would be sufficient really, it’s being completely ignored that pisses me off.

It isn't reproducible, but we'll try to do something different that will hopefully make a difference. Next hub firmware build.

Thank you so much for the response and the attempt to resolve.

aug-08-26 , same issue as most here, ios 26.1 iphone, ipad. app still hangs 90% of the time regardless of me being next to the hub or 100miles away, clicking home does allow for reloading whatever dashboard you want. as much as i appreciate your( ghoper.ny) replying, your “will try” “will hopefully make a difference “ sounds more like you guys have no idea whats causing it

I think that is the issue, they can't reproduce it. If they can't consistently get it to error out for them, it is only a guess as to what is causing it. Gopher is pretty persistent, but can only go with what he can see, and he can't see into anyone's phone and get error logs or see activity like he could your hub.

one can only assume is this or the other thing, what I know is that for as long as home automation stays niche most of us will learn to just live with the quirks of it the other few% will just vent where they can(plenty of unhappy users in reddit/App Store reviews) and return/trash their hubs, shoot more and more I see myself in that few% LOL, spending hours setting up things is not as appealing as it was seven yrs ago when I set up my veraplus.

on a side note, does anyone know why "topic has been solved" msg pops up(seen it in other topics as well) but I dont see the solution ?

Because I started this thread, and I said myself if they would simply give me any answer at all, rather than ignore me, that would be enough at this point. I finally received that bare minimum of communication from gopher:

It isn't reproducible, but we'll try to do something different that will hopefully make a difference. Next hub firmware build.

So as far as this post is concerned, it’s solved. Mostly because it’s been a year and I don’t think I’m gonna get anything better than that.

At the bottom of the OP, where you see the “solved” checkmark and a partial image of the post that was marked as the solution, that’s a link to said post you can click on to scroll to the full post within the thread.

The creator of the thread, as well as other forum users with sufficient trust level, can mark posts as solutions (moderators and staff can too).

Of course it’s possible you may not agree the the post counts as a solution, but thats how you can find the post in question.
