Dashboard controls not working past 2.4.2.143

If I upgrade past 2.4.2.143 on my C5 legacy dashboard none of my virtual thermostats work. I can attempt to change between modes such as cool or heat to off or vice versa they aren't registered.

Does anyone know what's causing this?

If you bring up developer console (usually with F12), does the JavaScript tab show any errors?
If there are no errors, can you switch to Network tab, issues a command, and post these two screenshots?

I've seen occasional reports of this issue, but can't reproduce it locally.
Also, could you please PM me you hub's id? I'll check the engineering logs.

The issue appears to be that devices that were authorized for the dashboard are no longer authorized.

The short term fix while on the new build is to add them back manually. For the long term, there will be two changes:

  • Add log entry whenever a dashboard tries to run command for unauthorized device.
  • On dashboards details screen, add a warning whenever dashboard uses devices that are not authorized, and a one click way to add them back.

I still do not understand how devices get unauthorized, but this should provide a workaround.

So I have legacy dashboards that didn't need to have devices assigned specifically to them. Once I added the devices to the legacy dashboards the items started to work again.

I have the same problem.
Tried to remove the devices. Save. Add them again.
Still not working.
Even as simple as Virtual Switch
