We are in 2025,dark mode exists everywhere,should be possible. I saw request for this option from 2020,and nothing changed since then

If you are a Chrome user I have been on this for years so I haven't really noticed the UI flag missing. Should get you through. No idea if Safari supports this.
Love dark mode. Even Android took forever to catch up.

Dark Reader is a good alternative (I use it everywhere ) but it really isnt a substitute to native dark theme, which really should be an option, not just a work around. Especially considering it is available in the mobile apps.
