Danalock V3 zigbee lock

I have a Danalock V3 zigbee version that works well most of the time. The problem is that it will only work if it's a sleepy end device. For some reason the lock will re-route itself through a repeater which causes it to stop working. The only thing I can do is reset the lock and place it next to the hub and go through a re-include. The distance between the lock and the hub is only 10 foot but it will re-route through repeaters much further away. Does anyone know how to prevent this lock from changing it's routing?

This is normal and can't be controlled.
What devices are you using as repeaters?

Using Centralite (mostly the cubes) for all repeaters but I have a few newer ones two.
I thought locks were all supposed to be sleepy end devices.
If not I don't understand why the lock won't function through one.

Try using just the newer ones, not the centralite, just as a test.

FYI i have the same lock on smartthings using an ikea outlet as a repeater device, working Perfectly, i havent migrated the locks to hubitat yet, since my fibaro universal sensors doesnt work right now on hubitat (they are the triggerunits for my locks) support has been contacted since this is a native supported device..

I have z-wave and zigbee versions of the danalock v3, the z-wave ones, are in my tests not able to be relayed which gives problems, the zigbee ones hasnt given me any problems with relaying though the said ikea outlet (which works as a repeater) although danalock actually says that no repeaters work for either.. I tried the aotec zwave extender, that didnt work for the lock, the commands just dies, perhaps because it doesnt support "beaming"

I have the option of getting either the zwave or zigbee version. Which version would you recommend getting? I have a mix of zwave and zigbee so I’m not fussed either way. Just wondering if one has more issues than the other

I choose zigbee because I have mostly zigbee devices. Plus if things get messed up it is easier to re-include a zigbee device than zwave. The only problem that sometimes pops up is my Danalock will only work as a sleepy end device. Under rare circumstances it routes through a repeater and stops working. To fix it I have to factory reset the lock and then do a zigbee pair. This may not be a problem with the lock itself but maybe due to using older generations of Centralite outlets. I can't speak to the zwave version of this lock as I don't own but I'm sure there are others here that do. BTW, the only reason I bought the Danalock is because it was the only lock that would fit the door. Other locks were just to big to fit the hole as it was drilled into the door.
