Cutting Sylvania LED light strips...anyone know of a hack?

Has anyone ever figured out a way to cut these strips and use the part that has been cut off the main strip? From what I've read it sounds like they aren't designed to allow that, but wondering if anyone has worked out a hack.

Get these:

Thanks...those look like part of a solution. What do you pair them with to hold things together? I'm a newb working w/LED strips so the obvious is not obvious to me. If you've used them do you have any pics of how you used them?

This only lets you use the cut off portion of a strip at the end of another strip chain and essentially changes the gender of the cable end from female to male. Sorry, I don't have any pics.

Thanks. I was curious how the pin connectors are solidly attached to the cut-end of the remnant being connected, so they won't pull apart accidentally. I'll spend a little time on Amazon looking at this. Appreciate your help.

They are a pretty snug fit. If you're worrying about disconnection, you can also put a piece of black electrical tape around the coupling point as well.
