Not sure if this is a 'bug' or a 'feature request' but the current limitation of custom attribute type enum is 255 chars.
Some of the larger devices exceed this and the workaround is to just put the custom attribute as a 'string' type.
Curious if this is something that can be increased? or another way to accomplish?
Example code rejection:
Hoping to at least get a confirmation from HE staff that this problem exists. Not sure what bell to ring to get help outside of putting something as a rant which gets seems to their attention and comments.

But @gopher.ny (who is undoubtedly busy working on some new things at the moment) would be the one who knows.
Will be upped to 1024 in 2.3.9 firmware.
