So I'd been reccomending the CT101 to a lot of people and getting the response it's sold out.
I messaged the company and they said the CT101 is not in production, nor is it going to be replaced with anything else... I haz sadz

There are a few on eBay.
CT101 is ancient.. I would recommend at least getting one that is z-wave plus.. Like the go-control or my favorite the honeywell T6 pro
Isn’t the Honeywell Wi-Fi though? Control is relayed through cloud?
The Honeywell T6 Pro is available in Wifi and Z-Wave models.. I have z-wave (duh z-wave fanboy here) .. Fun fact .. if you use the c-wire and batteries the device doubles as a power outage notification ..
T6 Pro Z-Wave Model:

TH6320ZW2003 - make sure it has the ZW in the model
So why Honeywell over GoControl? (Aside from the physical aesthetic)
From my perspective, the Honeywell supports HVAC configurations that the GoControl does not. For example, 2 stage heat-pump with 2 stage AUX.
Also the Honeywell supports an external wired temperature sensor (although I don’t use one).
From the manual.... I have a two stage system, not using aux though....
I am curious about the new 2GIG STZ-1 with 700-series Z-Wave:
https://www.2gig.com/products/peripherals/stz-1-programmable-thermostat/
Me too.. can you find it for sale anywhere?
That GoControl thermostat would be described as 3H/2C (3 heating stages max, 2 cooling stages max). My system is 4H/2C (4 heating stages, 2 cooling stages - a combination supported by the Honeywell.
The 4H are two heatpump stages + 2 AUX stages.
Someone just gave me 2 go control thermostats. I may just raffle one of them off for charity..
Just recieved two go control thermostats for free (Cost of shipping). So I'll test it out and probably pass on the other one to someone in need...
