How could I create a shade control button similar to the fan control. I want to be able to click on button and a list of shade positions are list i.e. Fan speeds.
On a similar baffling subject. When I click on fan button I see more speed choices then what is shown in supported Fan Speeds.
I have found that the fan tile does not pull in supported fan speeds to the menu, it just has those options set for everything. Unlike Thermostat tiles, which will pull in the supported fan modes and supported thermostat modes, set in the attribute states of the device, to display only those in the tile menus.
A work around is to use virtual buttons, one for each shade level you want. Then make automations so that when it is pushed (like a 25% button) it tells the shade to open to 25%.
However, isn't it easier to just move the shade tile slider to the 25% position? I think that is even easier than a pop-up menu. You can also add another tile for the shade, but use the Level Vertical tile to get an up/down slider that would make more sense since it is an up/down slider like a shade opens.
