To all the decision makers:( @patrick)
After the commotion has died down about the new mobile app, I'd like to suggest the following quick enhancement.
It should be relatively easy to generate a quick dashboard in alphabetic order (just like there is an option to do today), but formatted for a phone. In other words to quickly give a new user (or reviewer) an easy to use way to control all their devices immediately.
The generated dashboard should look something like this:
It should also be easy to delete it, and regenerate this dashboard (because you may have added/deleted various devices).
With all the different phone sizes out there, I'm not sure how to go about doing this, but I'm sure that there are some clever designers out there, that know how!
Indeed, the system could automatically generate this dashboard so that a new user would have something to initially play with in the mobile app.
Also, giving users the ability to quickly control all their devices (even without customization) is a big step forward to directly compete with other products.
Please disregard this idea if it has been previously suggested.
P.S.
The following is a screenshot of editing one of those tiles. A good designer would ensure that the "Edit Line" is clearly visible, and not cut off:

Yeah automatically scaling for mobile would be nice. Even if it was a new dashboard created for mobile. Maybe it's possible to get closer to this than I realize.
The reason that I proposed this, is because when a reviewer (or new user) first uses the Hubitat, it's important to give him/her immediate feedback.
Being able to easily control your devices from your phone is a key attribute of any contemporary Home Automation product.
I'm confident that this capability can easily be programmed via the Dashboard facility and the mobile app. Hubitat has this capability, it just has to be "put together".

This is a rockstar idea! I hope @patrick decides to implement it.
This feature is already there, but clearly not as obvious as it seems.
Adding a dashboard and opening it up on the device you want to display it on has an option if you scroll all the way down on the first load of dashboard called auto populate.
This creates a grid optimized for the device and scrolls vertically.
On mobile its typically 2xXX where XX is the number of devices / 2
It's already alphabetically sorted.
Auto creating dashboards when done on the device you want to use are automatically set to work best for that device.
Appreciate the suggestions, will add them to the feature request list.

As always Patrick, thanks for listening.
I'm sure that you and the others have a feature request list as long as (somebody's) arm.
As long as this suggestion is on the list, I'm sure that it will get the priority that it merits.
