I've been struggling with what drivers to use to accomplish what I want.
I have RGBW LED strips and deck lights. The hardware is using Fibaro RGBW Controller-2.
The drivers I've tried create a parent device, with a separate child devices for the RGB LEDs and the white LEDs (two child devices).
Per a recommendation on this forum after the parent/child devices get set up, I change the parent driver to be the user driver Zooz ZEN32 RGBW.
I can control individual devices using this approach, but I'd like to define groups with several controllers in the same group. Then I could turn them all on and off together, or change them to the same brightness or to the same color.
I've been successful of defining a group that will allow me to turn them off and on together, but not to set the same brightness or color. After messing with different driver combinations, I can't even get back to being able to control on/off for the group.
Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
Each of the solid boxes is a "device" with its name and driver used. The dotted line is the group "Boxes".
I want to use Alexa to control things, but I can't even control the group using the device page commands. I can do things like "Change picture blue" or "Dim picture 50%". But I can't do "Turn boxes off" or "Turn boxes blue". (I had something working that would allow me to "Turn boxes on" and "Turn boxes off", but I can't get that working again.
Is there a way to do this?
