Control a door lock from the Dashboard?

OK - Still working on getting my door lock with Hubitat. Going to do it this weekend I hope - been putting it off for years actually, lol...

I need to know - Can I control (Open and close) the lock from the Hubitat phone app (Dashboard section - door control)?

Should work fine - I can un/lock my 2 Yale zigbee locks from my dashboard no problem.

It will prompt you with a "Are you sure?" message (same applies to garage doors too), and there's no easy way to get around that... I actually like that feature, but some folks don't -- just something to be aware of.

I can lock/unlock my kwikset 914C from dashboard. Just had hell setting up new users!

Yes. Just expose it to the dashboard you want to use it on. Then add it to the dashboard (two separate tasks)

What do you mean by expose it.....

go to yourhubip>>apps>>hubitat dashboards>>whateverdashyouwantthelockon and then click devices. Don't expose all devices as that can actually slow dashboards down when you have a lot of them.,
