To quote Queen….. “I’m going slightly mad”
Ok, for the past month I’ve been playing a game of whack a mole with my zigbee sensors. All of them were working brilliantly until about a month ago. Since then, everyday I will lose connectivity to some. I will have to run around the house re-pairing them. Then they work fine for anywhere from a few hours to a few days.
I’ve tried new zigbee channels (from 20 to 15 and then 26) but same behaviour. I have used a wifi analyser and those channels should be fine but there could be non-wifi noise on some channels so tried anyway.
I’ve looked at my mesh and LQI is good across the board, but I'm not sure on the other paramater meanings so maybe something there. I've added an export of my mesh below. I’ve also added and moved a couple of repeaters just in case. I did read that a bad repeater can cause problems. I since removed a Tuya smart plug that I got about then just in case but no help. I also read that a rebuild of the mesh has helped a similar problem with smart things. But I'm not sure on how to do that here. Do I just unplug the hub for a few hours?
I really just don’t understand it. Everything was fine and then everything went to sh!t. I even have one of the devices dropping that sits about 2m away from the actual Hubitat Hub and in line of sight. WTF.
What else can I try? Could it be a damaged Hub or Zigbee device? I am at my wits end and about to go back to a dumb house as my wife is getting extremely annoyed.
Thanks for any help.
Alan

. I'm really stuck for what this could be. Can't be remote device as it happened to multiple at the same time. I live in a small town and not a big built up area where there could be a lot of 2.4GHz interference. My neighbours also aren't tech savvy so don't have a lot of wifi/other devices. I've also used signal analysers, moved my own wifi as well as tried 3 different zigbee channels. So I doubt it's that. I've moved location of hub and rebuilt mesh multiple times. Also added additional repeaters. But some of the devices are in same room and was even in line of sight. So again, don't think it's signal strength/quality. That leads me to something that is wrong in the hub or a change in protocol, or something along those lines. I agree with what bobby said in that it can't really be a broken hub/zigbee device as I would have trouble with all my devices.

Back to the drawing board. Everything was working relatively well for the start. 2 Hubs meshed, one with only Ikea repeaters and the Xiaomi devices, and the other with my other smart plugs. But just seemed to be getting worse since. Started with just a device or 2 losing connection every week or so, then a few more. Now this morning waking up to over 10 needing re-pairing. I'll give the Xiaomi thread another read to see if I can find the issue, else I guess it's back to the original plan of replacing all Xiaomi devices which I'm not looking forward to (more the problem of getting suitable wall switches (wired and wireless) that the wife will like the look of.
