Can we get the connected services tab in HomeKit populated with something more useful this makes it difficult if you have multiple hubs.

Ir would still only show "Hubitat" or the vendor ID (the ID is how it works; how it displays us up to the UI of Home or whatever platform you're using, not the one it comes from) -- so you wouldn't get a hub name, for example. But this is in progress.
