Confirmation from more than one motion sensor

I have an idea to cut down on possible false alarms at night from outdoors where there could be foxes and all sorts, or even the next door neighbors passing, I thought I could try setting up motion sensors in such a way as the typical human intruder would have to set off more than one on their way towards my doors or windows. Does anyone have any suggestions for a rule that would alert on motion but only if motion had also been registered on another sensor in the previous minute? Preferably just one rule they could all share as triggers.

There is a built-in app for that!

That looks like what I need! Would you happen to know if one sensor can be in more than one zone group? The one on the corner could be "helper" to both the ones at the sides. Tho,,, maybe I can put them all in one group but say only two need to trigger to set a positive response.

I don't see why not. Give it a try and let us know how it works out for you. I believe this App is one of @mike.maxwell's. He'd know for sure.

Sure, though for your use case one false motion zone will likely do.

Have several instances where a motion sensor is included more than 1 zone.
Works perfectly.
