Competing IR Devices: Workaround?

I have 2 LED candles from different brands on the same bookshelf that have "competing" IR signals. The "ON" for one is the "OFF" for the other and vise versa so they end up turning off each other. Is there an obvious work around that I'm missing? Can I reprogram them to use the same signals? For now, I'm just on the hunt for different tea light candles and hope they either have different frequencies or by some miracle have a synced "ON" and "OFF" to the glass LED candles I already have.

Do IR candles have distinct ON/OFF or are they just out of sync? If they do have distinct IR codes for ON/OFF, and they both also have a toggle code, then you could use the toggle code instead. Take one out of the room or block it temporarily to get it in sync with the other.

They have a distinct ON and OFF. I ended up just ordering several tea light candles off Amazon until I found one where the IR didn’t compete. Thank goodness for free returns. Actually, the ones I found used the same signal for all commands as the glass candles so that was nice!
