What do I need to know before upgrading to the c8? Will I still need to use the community version?
Will all my devices restore within the pistons when doing a migration?
Important info:
It's boring but important read the entire document before starting your migration.
Migration won't affect which version of WebCore you can use. Whatever version you are using on our C7 will be migrated along w/your pistons to the C8. After you migrate you can choose to change over to a different version if you want, but there won't be any automatic option to migrate from one version of webCore to another. If you have the community version installed it will be installed along w/all your pistons and work normally on the C8. If you have been using the built-in version, the same result, your pistons and the app will be installed on the new hub and you can keep using the built-in version.
