[Coming Soon] Roborock Integration (Local Control) - Beta Testers Wanted

I've been working on a new Roborock integration for Hubitat. After a one-time sign-in to your Roborock account, Hubitat talks straight to your vacuum on your local network. Status and commands don't go through the cloud.

What it does:

  • Live status: state, current room, clean area and time, battery, errors, fan and mop modes, consumables
  • Commands: Start, Dock, Pause, Resume, room cleaning, fan and mop settings
  • Runs your Roborock scenes (through Roborock’s cloud)
  • Finds your vacuum’s new IP on its own if it changes (through Roborock’s cloud)
  • Same attribute and command names as @Bloodtick_Jones Roborock driver, so your rules and dashboards carry over.

Special thanks to @Bloodtick_Jones, whose Roborock driver got me this far. The sign-in and naming is built on his work.

The Tips & Troubleshooting page in the app covers setup and exactly what's local vs what uses Roborock's cloud.

It's been solid on my Qrevo Curv X for several days, and a couple of testers are already on it. Now I need more models before a wider release:

  • Older models (S5 to S8 series, earlier Qrevo and Q Max)
  • Newer models (Saros, S8 MaxV Ultra, other Qrevo models)
  • Anything else. Send it anyway.

Not supported right now: Dyad, Zeo, and the Q7 / Q10 family.

Testing is simple:

  • Install through HPM (I'll send you the link)
  • Let it run on your normal cleaning schedule
  • Tap Diagnostics on the vacuum device and send me the result
  • Optional: block the vacuum's internet in your router for a few minutes and run a room clean from Hubitat, to confirm it's local on your model

Interested? DM me your vacuum model and I'll get you set up.

Once this is out of BETA, I will create a separate post for the release.

Thanks!

I'm in. I have both an S5 and a S7.

I've got a couple of Q5 Max+ robots that I use. I'd be happy to test for you.
