Cloud Connection is Unavailable

Both my C8 hubs are losing their cloud connection daily, this started with installation of version 2.3.9.193

Fix on the way or roll back the hubs to previous version?

Check this setting...if it's on, turn it off.

So far reports back from users indicate it isn't messing w/HomeKit or Hub Mesh in any significant way, and should help eliminate or minimize Cloud connection issues.

I'm having a similar issue, but only if I happen to reboot my Asus router. Seems like my C8 looses cloud connection, which forces me to reboot it each time. Pain in the butt. You'd think it would reconnect since it seems to properly reconnect to my LAN without issues.

I have the same issue with my C-7 constantly telling me "Cloud connection is unavailable."
I'm on 2.3.9.193, and my Bonjour options slider is set to off.

I'm having to constantly reboot my modem because my ISP is apparently doing work on the connection due to some problem. The problem causes the need to reboot, then they come work on their systems overnight in the n'hood, disconnecting everyone 3-6 times between 2 and 6 am, so I have to reboot again. But after rebooting the modem and router, HE does not automatically reconnect (even though it used to).

Rebooting my HE hub from Settings/Reboot reconnects the HE. Just one more step I now need to add to my several times a day issue until the ISP can figure out and fix whatever is causing their problem.

Just wanted to follow up on this issue and report that, at least for me, updating to 2.3.9.196 has fixed this issue for my hub.

While I didn't determine root cause, or discover the fix, or do any of the coding or testing, or help create the package update, or write the release notes, I would still like to claim credit for the fix. :smiley:

I've been ignoring my wife's To-Do list, and thinking it might help if I could tell her I was too busy working on this. :wink:

My C-8 hub is on 2.4.0.151 firmware and I lost my cloud connection. Rebooting the hub restored the connection but I thought this issue was fixed a while back. Anyone else having this issue on the latest firmware?

I'm still having this issue whenever my hub reboots with no internet available, which tends to happen with a power cut since Hubitat boots faster than my router. A Hubitat restart always fixes it, but it seems strange that Hubitat doesn't make any observable attempt to reconnect...
