Christmas LED (4.5v) fairy light zigbee controller?

Hi all,

I've got 4 LED fairy light strings (in diff locations in the house) that work off of a 4.5v (3x1.5AA) battery pack. The battery pack has a setting that is "timer" so it is on for 6 hrs, off for 18. I hate this as the timer is never exact and thus things turn on and off differently throughout the house.

I'd RATHER get a zigbee module that can plug in (to the wall?), and treat the fairy string as a "dead load" - ie: a load that it must provide 4.5v to. The trick here is that the zigbee module has to provide the 4.5v...cos I'm tired of replacing 1.5v AA's!!! Anyone know of anything that can do that?

Thanks!

[Edited to change 3.5v to 4.5v - sorry]

Not sure if this would be worth it? You could use a battery converter and then plug that into any smart plug.

That wasn't available til after Christmas in my area...but this one was - and I bought 2! Now I can use a regular zigbee adapter with this - and it handles 1-4 battery compartment units! THANKS!
