Check status of zigbee network?

I'm trying to install some zigbee devices. But first I installed some Ikea Tradfri outlets to help build out my coverage. How can I check to see if I have enough coverage and a strong enough network? How do I know if I need another outlet, and where it should go to help strengthen the network?

Start here: How to Build a Solid Zigbee Mesh - Hubitat Documentation

And then here: Everything Xbee for mapping the zigbee network.

One point to note when building out a zigbee network.
It takes a few days of usage for the network to "settle down" and form it's own paths via the mesh, unlike Zwave which (after a repair), is completely settled down.
It's also important to note this address:

FWIW, staff still do not recommend adding more than 20 Z-Wave devices at a time and 80 Z-Wave devices per day (and waiting until 3 days later to do more), regardless of repair status: How to Build a Solid Z-Wave Mesh - Hubitat Documentation

But how do I know if I have enough outlets? And in the correct locations?

If everything stays stable.

If you stick to common sense at placing the repeaters and know the enemies of the mesh you can create it pretty much stable already. Maybe change one or two things afterwards.

In short: trial and error
