Cheap(ish) Raspberry Pi

Can do a lot with 2GB, but yep, agreed would be nice to have 8.

I can't see needing any more than 4gb. Even 2 would work, but I'm running lots of stuff on the pi, so that would use up 40% of the RAM normally (it runs about 800MB typically) which would make me nervous, since I don't have a swap file for out of memory issues.

My heavy lifter uses between 700mb and 1.2gb but who knows what someone will come up with in the future that eats memory like gummy bears. At least with the 8gb I have time to catch it if it starts running low.
