Cheap integrated thermostat

I'm looking for an inexpensive thermostat that can integrate with the HE to control my garage heater. Are there any cheap zigbee ones available? I DO have a C-wire if needed.

If it's Zigbee you want, the Centralite Pearl is a good option:

@jtmpush18 beat me to it. I have 2 arriving today.

Of course, you could use other popular thermostats:
Zen, GT10, Honeywell T6 Pro, (zwave)

got a vivint z-wave + on fleabay for 20 bucks +8 shipping . It's a SCT-100 works great

Bought the Pearl. Out of stock until November 26th though. No problem since my gas won't be hooked up until Dec 14th. And I have to redo my chimney and switch it from 4" to 3" so I can stay within spec on the maximum length of the exhaust run. :frowning:

Will this Pearl thermostat automatically change from cool to heat and vice versa? Has anyone used one with Hubitat yet?

It does not auto change on it's own, but you can use Rule Machine to create rules to do so.

These need to be considered very dumb thermostats as are most of the other ones mentioned earlier. They don't do anything on their own. For any programming, you must provide that with RM or Thermostat Scheduler.

Yeah, I kinda figured that out after studying its features. I'm reluctant to put such a thermostat into use as I feel a thermostat should have the ability to run a program in the event of a catastrophic failure of one's automation system.

Sure like the price though. I'll need 7 so I'm rather price sensitive.

You do have the ability to set a minimum set temperature for heat and a max for cooling so you aren't left in the cold or hot. I don't know if there are any connected thermostats (non smart) that allow for internal scheduling. Someone smarter than me may know.
