"Chatty" devices

I understand that z-wave devices that are too "chatty" can be burden on the z-wave network.

I'm curious as to what the definition of "chatty" would be, reports every 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc..?

I have a couple of USB powered devices that monitor humidity and luminance that have parameters that allow me to control the frequency of reports down to as low as 30 seconds. 30 seconds seems a little excessive, but I'd like to set them to report as frequently as possible without being a burden.

Any recommendations on this?
