Change mode of Christmas lights

Both my indoor tree Christmas lights and outdoor lights are modern plug in leds with 7 or more lighting modes e.g chaser, flashing quick, twinkles steady etc….of course steady is not the first one by default and I have to press a separate button on the plug to get the mode I’d like,

Now when I use my smart zigbee plugs (Lidl) to turn these on each day they reset to the default mode number -is the a way to change the mode automatically after using the smart plug to turn them on?

Any way to utilize a Switchbot button pusher? I have not used these personally, but it seems like it is made to do this exact job.

At our old house, we used the Philips Light Effects LED light strings. I believe that those retained their mode then power cycled, however they were also crazy expensive.
