Change Hub Location

Went into the location settings and moved my location. Hit update. But the location in the app doesn't seem to pick the change up. Is there something I need to do?

The location of the hub is only used as the default location on login.

You can tap and hold the pin on the map and drag it where ever. The location of the geofence in the app is not tied to the hub's location after login.

Or, if you updated your hub's location in the Web Interface, you will need to log out and log back in to the app for the new location to be set by default.

Is there a way to "rename" your hub in the portal without doing a soft reset?

Change the location name on the hub. Might take a reboot to sync or up to 24 hours.

I probably wasn't clear on what I did. I changed the location in the Web Interface under settings, location. Then I was looking for the geo fence location to change in the app to match. I did try logging out and back in on the app and it still didn't change.

Due to the way our road winds around I was just testing to see if I could make the presence work better by modifying the center of the location. But it turned out it wouldn't work anyway, so it's no problem.

And it's possible I wasn't clear. You can adjust the pin placement in the mobile app. Just tap and hold the pin and drag where you want it.
