CCT only LEDs with a RGB CCT controller

I have some CCT only LEDs that have 3 wires (V+, WW, W) and I am trying to control them with a RGB+CCT Zigbee controller. I plug WW from the LEDs into W on the controller, W from the LEDs into C and V+ into V+. When I power on the LEDs light up and the device pairs, but it seems like the controller cannot communicate with the lights. I cannot power on / off via the hub, dim, set color, temp, etc. When the controller enters pairing mode the lights are supposed to blink but they don't. Can you use a RGB+CCT controller without the RGB wires? It seems like the answer is no based on what I am seeing. Is anyone else doing this?

It depends on the device.. RGBGenie z-wave models can actually switch to CCT only mode.. I use CCT strips in my kitchen

Thanks. It is the GLEDOPTO RGBCCT controller. I bought the 2ID version thinking that would be correct for only using CCT lights. I had forgot I did that, and noticed Hubitat isn't finding both devices during pairing. So that's likely why things are not working correctly. I also found a youtube video this morning that says Hubitat doesn't recognize the 2ID version properly. So I'll try a 1ID version and see if that works. If not, they make a CCT only version that I can try but that takes 6 weeks to ship.

I'm pretty sure the 2ID version only works correctly with the Hue hub.

Is the RGBgenie the only CCT controller that works with Hubitat? I can't find anywhere to purchase it (that's not Amazon). I've had bad luck with Gledopto's so far.
