Love it...though my friends using LISP back in the day said it was "Lots of Idiotic Stupid Parentheses."
Pretty sure my brother has gotten this virus more that once, given the number of times I've had to go over to his house to help him repair some bizarre damage he's done to his laptop. It's like patching a dike you know is going to continue spring new holes repeatedly...
Oh man a friend of mine followed some "guys" instructions on fixing his laptop was able to rename the NTFS.dll (yes the file system) and then bluescreened every restart. Must have been the Albanian's again.
Somehow this brings to mind the topic of favorite error messages. While some honorable mention should go to this DECnet error:
Error 69 Network partner exited
my favorite error is this one from the BIOS:
No keyboard found. Hit F1 to continue.
Wife (in the other room!) wants to know what's so funny!!
Any error message that says Unexpected Error Occurred, like it was expecting some other error?
When I used to flip laptops, my main source was the craigslist ‘computers for sale’ forum. Saw a post wanting $15.00 for a 3 year old HP laptop. I drove over an hour to buy it. Seems the husband got the laptop back from a computer store after they repaired a BSOD. He thought it was still not right, so he went in willy-nilly and deleted files that he thought were causing the problem. Naturally it wouldn’t boot, so he got disgusted and put it on craigslist for $15.00
Got it home, ran some intensive tests on the hardware (Geek Squad MRI) overnight. When that came back clean, a wipe and reinstall brought it back to life. Sold it for 10x what I paid.
Just how many is 1,00,0.0000,00, anyway?
Duh...that's a gazillion, obviously.
How is this guy still alive? Darwin demands his due...
I've always been on the fence about if it's an act. He seems to actually know what he's doing in this video. Is the total lack of concern for safety just his YouTube shtick?
Now, how the heck am I going to automate this (or find somewhere to put it!)?
We are moving offices and I scored this 5,000 lumen, 1200p beast that can throw up to a 500" screen! It's so big it's kinda needs it's own meme!
Did you mean to say "...hide it?!" Ohhhh....I'm tellin'!!
If you're stretched for space, I could just squeeze it in...
I had a similar good luck stroke about 20 odd years ago, same thing, office closing and I got (can't remember exactly) I think it was a 1080p projector. Used it at home for a while but the biggest issue was controlling light in the room and not being able to have any furnture on one entire wall, so I ended up moving on to a 60" flat screen. Miss that projector sometimes...
Shtick, or maybe he's just a lunatic. Or both. But yeah, he does seem to know all the conversions/actions he's crazily playing with.
Luna-shtick?
Hehe, Wife has already queried my sanity - I told her I dont care, it was $4k USD new, and I got it for free - she just laughed at me.
This thing put's out 5,000 lumens so I could use it during the day. I'll most likely calibrate it for night use and maybe make an outdoor cinema with it under the verandah.
OK, that settles it, she and my wife are the first ones off the boat when we start running low on sardines.
Or something a bit more compact. Apparently that recent fusion breakthrough has already led to a "straight to consumer" product launch... just $50 for your own home energy reactor. I'll let someone else buy it first and review it before I take the plunge.
He knows what he’s doing, he’s just a clown on video. I spotted at least 20 thousand dollars worth of state of the art test gear behind him.
I can buy 90000 mAh 18650 batteries on wish.com AND 400000 lumen flashlights
