Yeah my 8 year old does full contact Karate but for some reason won't spar with me in Jiu-Jitsu.... I just tell him how disappointing he is as a son....

Both my sons, my wife, and two of my grandkids at a blackbelt promotion ceremony a few years ago (back row is instructors - who are basically family too).

Nice! My youngest just took his orange belt test. He genuinely enjoys it. I took up Jiu Jitsu (same studio) due to nerve damage in my leg from surgery and losing my core. Right now I'm about as flexible as a piece of rebar.
