Same here!
Almost ready to share. Need to make a few more small changes and a little more testing.
How’s it going?
Any progress? I can get this to work in home assistant but would prefer it in hubitat
Life has been crazy busy the last few months but I spent some time today finishing up some things.
I think I will have information to share tomorrow evening for anyone that wants to start to test.
Sure.. im ready to test
Ok, here is version 0.0.1. This gDoc has all the details on how to install.
I had to make substantial changes for various reasons. So this verison will enable Hubitat to conect with Infinitude and create all relative drivers. What I have not implemented yet is the ability to change the status of the thermostat, although that is going to be pretty simple now that I have everything else complete.
I've not fully updated the document, so the install details should be pretty up to date, but you can ignore the remainder for now.
For those that are testing, basically need you to go through the install from the doc. You can add comments to the doc if there is anything wrong or needs clarifying. Once installed this should basically update the devices in Hubitat at whatever interval you configure.
Just published version 0.0.2, you now have the ability to change the state of the zones / system.
Outstanding items:
Set Humidity Setpoint
Set Thermostat Operating State
Shcedules
Just made an additional update. The update of Infinitude values is independent to the setting of the thermostat / zones status in Hubitat (this is the way Hubitat is designed). Now, when Hubitat updates Infinitude, a job will run after 15 seconds to pull the updated status.
In addition I have also tested this with Google Home. When you change the state the GHA will show the old setting until Hubitat gets the updated thermostat setting from infinitude.
wow... impressive work.. currious though.. why not go down the path this guy has and just port the api?
Because of the way Hubitat works, implementing the protocol in Groovy coupled with peoxying to Bryant would be substantial effort.
fair enough.. my thermostat is past fw ver 4.05 so its a no go for infinitude for me unfortunately. guess i'll use the home ■■■ one for now.
thanks
