I can't find any other bug reports pertaining to this. Hopefully someone can help.
From your screenshot, you appear to be on an exceptionally old platform version. I would first suggest going to Settings > Check for Updates and updating your hub platform version (or, if you don't want to do that for whatever reason, sticking with whatever version of webCoRE currently works for you; I imagine this is the problem).
On a related note, it it is often helpful to share your platform version from Settings > Hub Details. There were just enough clues in this one, though. ![]()
Ya, things start breaking when I move to the new version. My blinds don't work with Google Home the right way. I try every once and a while, perhaps I'll do that again.
Does this mean that if I install this version in the new platform, I can never go back?
Do you speculate that this is a driver issue, a device issue, or the Google integration?
Maybe post what you have tried, device name/brand and some log screenshots. If it used to work, it still should work, so why not help to get it fixed or help staff to track down an issue.
To second the above request, it might help to say what hub model, and hub firmware you are on that does work, and maybe pinpoint an update where it doesn't work.
There is a way to go to the latest of any major version, you could try 2.5.x or some version in-between where you are now and current versions. If we know where you are, it might help someone to suggest a newer version that does work for you, or at least something to try.
Assuming you mean Hubitat’s built-in Google home integration?
What code are you referring to?
A Hubitat staff member?
The code for my blinds..
I can find the thread if you would like.
No, I am not a staff member
No, I was asking if "the guy" you mention in talking to was Hubitat staff. I know you aren't staff...
In other words, you talked to someone, but you don't say if it was something official with a staff member, or some community member like you and me.
I believe @neonturbo was asking if you were referring to a staff member when you said “the guy in charge of the Google home integration.”
No, you can use the Diagnostic Tool to revert to several of your recent platform versions (or an endpoint to download the latest hotfix for a specific one if needed for some reason, e.g., it fell off that list), and you can save a matching hub backup yourself (hub backups do not restore the platform version; it's just a backup of your database, including custom app code, at that time -- among other things).
But I agree with the posters above that knowing more about your specific problems would be good.
Ahhh!
That was an old thread, @marktheknife may have been the person I was talking to.
That’s me, but I’m not on the staff and I’m not a developer so you’re probably thinking of a conversation with someone else.
