I think this all comes down to whether your bulbs are capable of pre-staging colour. I don't know which bulbs can or can't.

What is the exact bulb model number, and what driver (type) is it using? Screenshots of your settings for the bulb preferences also would be helpful. It is almost impossible for someone to give you advice without knowing this basic information. Some bulbs can do what you are asking, others cannot.
