So I'm getting the message, "Failed to discover any Hue Bridges. Please confirm that the Hue Bridge is connected to the same network as your Hubitat Hub, and that it has power." seems so simple, which is why I'm confused, I'm sure I've connected it to the same network.
It's connected via ethernet to an eero mesh router while the philips hue hub is connected to another eero mesh router in the next room, on the same network (its a mesh network...).
Any tips on getting this working? Hubitat seems to think its on a different network...
Have you actually checked the IP addresses of the 2 hubs? Also have you set up the hue bridge with the hue app beforehand?
Yeah, the Hue bridge has been set up with a bunch of hue bulbs for a while, part of the complication is that I'm move for smartthings to the hubitat.
Checking on the Eero they each have their own IP (which they need right...?). The hubitat is 192.168.4.42 and the Hue is using 192.168.4.30. Is there an address they should be using?
Thanks for your help!
They're on the same subnet so there's no reason why they can't see each other, although I have no experience with these wifi units.A quick search shows that other people have had issues with devices not reaching each other via the mesh for some reason.
The only other suggestion I can make is try rebooting your mesh routers and hubs and if that doesn't work if you have or can borrow a network switch to plug into one of the mesh units and plug both hue and hubitat into the same switch, rather than go through the mesh. A basic 5 port switch can be had for very little money these days!

Appreciate the help, thats the conclusion I've come to as well... switches are coming on Saturday! Fingers crossed.
It's been a while since I hooked mine up, but I would expect you have to press the button on the front of the hue bridge. Did you do that when trying to discover it through the HE hub?

I was also unable to discover my HUE bridge. I ended up having to put both units a network hub as it would seem the the the C7 was unable to discover the bridge while connect to my network L3 Switch. I've also had for the port on my switch to 100 as the C7 would drop off the network after several hours. I suspect that there's something in the networking stack that's just not right.
I did try that, yeah. No luck. Apparently all that does is send out a signal that the hue does automatically every so often anyway.
I'm not sure I fully understand this, can you elaborate as to how I could do/try this also?
A 5 port switch ended up solving the issue for anyone using an eero mesh network.

I know this is an old post, but wanted to add that I have found that Hue hubs don't link IP addresses that have a zero as the last digit in the 4th octet.
