I was having issues with this in previous version. If I went to the find hubs and did a search, then it would start working. With the current release I can't access the dashboards if I am in local mode. Doing a search for hubs does not help.
I can access local dashboard on my shop hub. I had not opened it with the new app since switching. I had to create a new device and now it works. On my main rules hub when I select a dashboard in local mode nothing happens.
I just got home and when I opened the app it made me log in again.
All seems to be working now. Earlier when I posted this I was at work and accessing through my VPN. I found that using the connect to Hub option at work would allow me to access my local dashboards. Using the dashboard button at the bottom of the screen could not.
Using my cellular connection and my VPN is working, so I assume it will work at the office tomorrow, we will see. I don't remember logging out and back in after loading up the new app so maybe that was it.
When I got to work this morning it again would not access local dashboards through VPN. This was using my office Wifi, so I switched back to my cellular connection and would not work that way either. As mentioned in above post it worked last night at home.
I logged out and logged back in and it is working again. Is this expected behavior? @bobbyD.
If the app is open and you switch connections, you'd need to force close the app and reopen to establish the new connection. Smooth transition from one connection to another is on the list, but not at the top of priorities, for the moment.
