Hi, sometimes my Eutronic CO2 en VOC sensor loose connection to the hubitat. It has always been tough to reconnect but it worked. But now it does not want to exclude or include (3 taps in 1 sec) the device. A factory reset (10s hold) does not help either. Has anything changed? Does anyone have any clues for me how to solve this issue? THx
Since you mention exclude/include, I presume this is a Z-wave device.
When connecting Z-wave devices, it is best to exclude/include them quite close to the hub (less than 10 feet). Try moving the sensor close to the hub or the hub close to the sensor. I have to do this when connecting my Z-wave Schlage door lock.
Since you mention that the device often disconnects, it might be that the sensor does not have a good signal to and from the hub. Do you have any Z-wave range extender/repeaters. That might well help. With the Hubitat C7, I needed repeaters to reach my front door lock. Once I upgraded to the C8/C8Pro, the lock connects directly with the hub and bypasses the repeaters.
