If the light is listed at 2700k can't you change it to 5000k by moving a slider?
Not on the device page, but your can on a Dashboard if you choose the Color Bulb template as shown below.
Unless you mean somewhere else?

The question is, where is the 2700k "listed"?

on the box. I found my answer.
the ambiance branded bulbs can change there white color the Hue White ones are 2700k only,
