I just tried to update HPM from inside HPM and it displays a message that says:
Installing updates... Please wait...
Downloading Hubitat Package Manager
It sits and spins and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?
Nevermind - I rebooted the hub and it managed to update.

Sounds like what happenes when the hub can't do it's own updates. If you join the beta, you can try out the current release which address' issues like this.

That’s normal for HPM,
Since it is updating its own code it often gets lost as to where it is and stalls out. All you have to do is back out and open HPM again, it usually will have already updated.
