Am wondering if I can have my cake and eat it too? Can I pair Bali shades with HE and also use their multi-channel remote? Any specific models of motor or remote?
Also, is it true that now the only motor option (besides the motorized wand option) for the roller shades is z-wave? That's what Lowes Home Improvement told me.

You can can use the remotes, but it isn't directly. Exclude the remotes from their current pairing and then pair with HE as a button controller. Then set up RM or webCoRE to trigger on the button press to raise or lower the shade(s). Both the remotes and the shade motors are Z-Wave+
I have Bali blinds, not the roller shades. It was a bit finicky but the did pair with Hubitat. As I recall I had to try a couple of times to get them to be recognized. I think the factory reset was difficult to perform. They have been working fine for years.
